Man, what can i say about myself. Well i guess I've known i wanted to make beats for quite some time, I just didn't have the proper tools or motivation. As long as I can remember I've been beat boxing and making beats on the table. I can remember back even to when I was little being interested in looking at the credits and seeing who produced what and being able to identify certain producers. As I got older I became more and more into that and before I knew it I could about tell any producer once a beat came on.

Fast forward to April or May of 07, after years of saying I wanted to try it I finally decided to get this program call Fruity Loops. Messing around with it, I immediately knew that it could be something that could work for me. Once I returned home that summer me and Q started messing around with it together in my parents basement and that's how the Basement Boyz were born. After years of work, and learning most importantly, we've gotten alot better.

Our original influence together was timbaland, which you can still hear in our music but it then evolved to just about anybody: Dr Dre, Ryan Leslie, Neptunes, 40, kanye, Just blaze, that list could go on endless. On my own when I sample Im heavily influenced by that whole 01-05 Roc-A-Fella Dipest era and 9th wonder and that whole soul sample and obscure sampling stuff. Once J. Dev started making beats it was only a fuel to the fire for me and Q to go harder. That brings us to today, and I feel like we're Really Good Now and can only get Better.
